Yeah, yeah , I'm bit to late to wish everyone there, but hey I'm still in the mood of christmas and new year.. So what's new year resolution for 2011..? Anyway last year I'm celebrating my christmas + wedding anniversary with my wife at Kuching, Sarawak.. It such a nice place and the peoples there are so friendly.. we went to Santubong, about 40km from Kuching International Airport and stayed at Damai Puri Resort.. Such a nice place.! The beach is nice and clean. Nearby there's Sarawak's Cultural Village

View of the Mt. Santubong taken from the beach of the resort. They said that this mountain looks like human sleeping  (the face was bloked by the building). 8 shots taken for this panorama, using AE Lock to lock the exposure.

Till then.. Will upload more on our journey from Kuching..!

World Health Day @ Kudat

Hola.. :)

4th Dec on Saturday there was a big event commemorates The World Health Day and World AIDS Day, helds at Esplaned Sidek, Kudat. It' sure was busy weeks preparing all kinds of stuff from the tents, chairs, sound, etc.. And there was exhibitions as well and a free health screening for the public. Even though it was a busy day, but that won't stop me from taking photos..! Here's a few of it.. Photos taken using Canon 1000D with 18-55 lens.

Yang Berhormat Datuk Rosnah Shirlin arrived at Esplaned Sidek.

Speech given by YB.

That's me explaining to YB about Malaysian Food Pyramid.

One of the exhibition show. The Volkswagen Club. There's a Big Bike Club show also.

WHO researcher who stayed at Pulau Banggi even came over to visit us here..

The man behind this big event.. (Not really) Just taking candid photo of my friend Mr. Momin.

Panorama..

Hola..!

Heard of Panorama in photography before..? It's a style of photography that combines two or more photos that make it looks bigger or longer.. Some enthusiast photography even combines up to 24 photos.! It's really cool, and fun, and challenging to see the results after you combined them all.. Try it..! It's really simple once you get the hang of it.. :p

This shot taken at Tanjung Lipat, Kota Kinabalu. I took 7 shots for this and using photoshop merge to combine it into panorama.. The biggest challenge for me is the differences of exposure because some part there still some sun light where other parts have gone dark. Taken using Camera 550D with 18-55 lens.

Till then.. ! Have a Blessed Day.. ;)

Korea Beijing Revisited: Day 5

Hi all..
Long time waiting for this update on my blog. Tell you the truth, I'm being a bit busy now days as it's a year end time where I need to summit my yearly reports to HQ plus with other things that need to be done before end of December. Sometimes I wish that I have a job that I actually loved to do like photography instead and with high income.. :) Anyway as promised, here are my trips on the 5th day at Beijing.. :)

Before ascending to the Great Wall

A view that shows how far you can see the line of the Great Wall.

It just too steep to climb the stairs! I wonder what does it feel when the labourer carries all the stone during its construction time..

Lunch time..!

The Terracotta statue. Well, it's just a replica..

Looks yummy.. this is during our visit at the central food market..

This remind me of the Limp Bizkit's album called 'chocolate starfish and the hot dog flavored water'.

Lastly, It's the Great Me with the Great wall.. Hehehehe..

Till then.. Have a blessed day ahead.. :)

Korea Revisited: Day 1

Hi there..!

How was your day today..? Hope everything is a blast.. :) Anyway I'm going back to 2009 as it was a great year for me and my wife. A journey to Korea and Beijing..! It was a great 8D7N journey. For me, Korea is a must place to visit for a country. The culture, the weather, the people, plus the foods... Man, I just can't describe all of it.. Never get enough of it.. :)

We started our journey with a gathering at Kota Kinabalu International Airport, together with my wife, my mum, and my aunt, and the rest of the group who join this tour of Korea-Beijing. I must say that I feel a bit nervous in traveling a long hour flight since I haven't been any flight of more then 3 hours journey.. (just KK-KL flight).

After 5 hours flight, we reached Incheon International Airport, going past through the immigration department where they don't speak English at all (wonder how they communicate with foreigner who don't speak their language though), which lucky enough they speak mandarin, and our tour guide speak as well.

Well anyway.. to make long story short.. here a few pics during that day.. More will be upload soon.. :)

Waiting patiently at the Kota Kinabalu International Airport..

Arriving Incheon International Airport.. See the face smiling after finally set foot at the land of Korea.. :)

Preparing my mask.. It's was global pandemic of H1N1 virus.. Just a precaution.. :)

I'm here at Imjingak.. :) They have a parade there.. Seems like some military celebration, Lots of marine arrive there..

Yup its cold out there. That's explained the jacket wearing..

As you can see there's a lots of chair and a big speaker and the bridge. Our tour guide says that, that's the bride connecting North and South Korea.. Anyway nice scenery.. :)

Mum showing that she needs an umbrella.. and I thought she gave a thumbs up..

I'm inside a Demilitarize Zone Building.. That's what they call it here..

Our lunch..! And this are just the side dishes.. :) And that is Kimchi.. Local delicacies..

Here my wife and my mum at one of the house here at Nami Island.. The place where the drama "Winter Sonata" was shoot..
