Portrait of Love & Family

Taking lots of photos recently until it gave me a headache to choose which one is for uploading to my blog. But all of it come with a great satisfaction since it come out only good photos. Here one of it. Story behind this picture: just ask my wife to stand next to the window with little Gabriel and let natural light do its wonder and I get a portrait of both love and family. No editing needed for this picture just a bit of darkening the background to look all black.

Canon  600D with 18-200mm, 1/125 @ f/4.5, ISO 3200.

White Sandy Beach @ Tanjung Simpang Mengayau.

Last Saturday,I brought my wife and little Gabriel out for a walk, kira macam dating la ni tp with a son hehehe.. The sky is clear with the sun set high, we started our journey to Tanjung Simpang Mengayau AKA The Tip of Borneo. Journey took us about an hour to reach (slow ba driving sebab ada baby dalam kereta.. :))When we reach there, the view of the beach really is captivating. Punya main cantik.. Laut crystal blue, white sand beach and less people walking, make it a very peaceful sight and a good place to relax.

Checked out this panorama. 26 shots are taken to merge it into one. I want to show that crystal blue sea is stretched from left to right.

Banyak lagi gambar yg diambil but then its nearly afternoon plus gabriel is hungry, so.... terpaksa balik. Maybe next time we will be coming back again.

Look In The Sky..!

One fine day outside my window, I saw this cloud (I thought it was cloud at first, seriously try to look at the picture) and wondering why on a bright sunny day there's a black little cloud in the middle of it? And I thought maybe its going to rain maybe in the afternoon. Then I saw on my FB,a person posted, saying there's a fire accident near Kolombong earlier in the morning. Then I realized that the "cloud" was actually a smoke coming from that incident.

This Panorama shows the smoke coming from the right side behind the hill. Hope there's no casualties.

Peek-A-Boo..!

One for an action.! This is just another one of Gabriel's favorite pose. :) There's more but I'll keep it all for my photobook project.

Sneak Peek..!

A bit busy here and there doing lots of things. Year 2012 seems "busy" for me with lots of "kursus", "mesyuarat" plus reports that all need to finish up ASAP.! It feels like I'm been running non stop unable to catch any breath. But for all this busy "thingy" nothing can beat the fun in getting myself busy with photographing. Just finish up editing a photobook for my client. Here a sneak peek of what I've done so far. Note that this is not yet finalized.!

Hopefully this year will get more and more new project coming in. I rather put myself busy with these than all my other works. Need to work harder, smarter from now on.!

Lightning At Night

This was taken at my home during one night. While waiting for dinner to be serve; I saw lightning in far distance away. I just managed to captured its after effects light still the lightning is visible if you look closely.. If only there was no clouds blocking it I'm sure I can see the lightning works.

Finally! It's out..! Yeay!

Been a while since my last update.. Work, work, work and so little time to update my blog. Sometimes I just wish that I stop doing my work job and doing what I loved most: photography. But reality bites; as one say. But again, I'll never be able to be to where I am now if it is not of my job cause that's where my main salary is. So instead of complaining and whining, I should work harder just like as today's update title. Really work hard for it. :) When it's finally published, I feel that every little thing that I worked so hard, finally paid off. Even if you get nothing or win anything from it but just seeing your picture actually published by one of the leading photography magazine and being read by thousands reader throughout the country, makes everything worthy.. :)

Freestyle Shooting.

Just one of those days where the weather is just so nice that you can't keep yourself at home but to go outside with camera to nail some cool photos.. Bring my best buddy Kenneth with his Nikon D90 with 24-120 lens.

Light of Moments or Moment of Lights..?

Hola.. :)

Taking a great picture is all about playing with the light. Well that easier said than done. A great photographer able to manipulate the available light surrounding them. To be a great photographer, there's no short cut but to keep on practice and learn and taking more pictures.

This beautiful model is ready to be photograph. I positioned her just next to the window and using soft cloth to diffused harsh light outside. No flash nor reflector used. Love the smile.. :)

The Eyes Are Wacthing Us.

Wassup..!

Hey have you ever wonder that there's always someone watching you out there some where.. It gives you the creep right.. :) But some people might find it interesting though as it feels like you always in the center of attraction.. Well anyway, today's upload theme is "the eyes are watching" hehehe.. :)

Here is my wife for the model a day. After make up and everything, I positioned her just next to the window facing the day light and using a soft transparent cloths to softened the light. Canon 550D with 18-55mm, 1/60 @ f/5.6, ISO 400, with EV -0.3 step. Edited using Photoshop CS3.

Panorama..

Hola..!

Heard of Panorama in photography before..? It's a style of photography that combines two or more photos that make it looks bigger or longer.. Some enthusiast photography even combines up to 24 photos.! It's really cool, and fun, and challenging to see the results after you combined them all.. Try it..! It's really simple once you get the hang of it.. :p

This shot taken at Tanjung Lipat, Kota Kinabalu. I took 7 shots for this and using photoshop merge to combine it into panorama.. The biggest challenge for me is the differences of exposure because some part there still some sun light where other parts have gone dark. Taken using Camera 550D with 18-55 lens.

Something To Cherish..

Hola..!

There's something in every moment in our lives that we need to cherish it. No matter what kind of it, we will make sure that it will be something to cherish forever.. for me, my wife is the only thing that I've ever cherished in my whole life.. :)This photo is taken just using available light in our dining room.. :) I'm not into using flash though, maybe that because I'm not good at using it.. :p

Breakfast For Two..

Hello there.. :)

How's your day? Hope everything's a blast. Anyway, just a quick upload here. I seldom do food photography, since I'm not into it. BUT I always like foods though.. :) I even like to cook and i like watching afc (asian food channel) on Astro.. :) Here's a photo that I took of a breakfast I made to my dear one.. :) Honey lemonade with bread wrap with fried egg and bread with peanut butter and blueberry jam.
